Though not forgotten, this blog has been dormant for a few months- For an exciting reason!

In July of 2015 I had the opportunity to sell my small online businesses and I took it! It didn’t take much soul searching to know where my heart was calling me: the Masters in Counseling Psychology program at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in Seattle, WA.

This year has been a tumultuous season of change and growth, transitions and transformations, and now I find myself 1/3rd of the way through a 3 year program to be a therapist specifically trained to engage life and traumatic life experiences at the intersection of theology and psychology. I’m in community in a way my self-employment did not allow and in a season of personal growth and challenge that the status quo I’d created no longer allowed. In short, I’m growing and learning and creating and, in that, happy.

Today I call home a 380 square foot studio in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. From a 3 bedroom house on 3 acres to a tiny studio in Seattle’s most densely populated neighborhood has been a huge transition to say the least! I have an 11 week summer break, during which I hope to wrap up a few blog posts that were on the back burner before my move and share some new DIY projects with you- plus post some photos of my new home, which has been terribly fun to decorate.

I still own Hawk Hill for the time being, but since I can see myself staying in the PNW long term, Hawk Hill is currently for sale. View’s real estate listing.
